Care to Give. Give to Care.

The Campaign for Lynn Community Health Center

Everyone deserves access to quality healthcare. Since 1971 Lynn Community Health Center has been meeting healthcare needs of our community with quality and compassionate services. Established as a small storefront mental health clinic, we have seen exponential growth. Today 41% of Lynn residents, and 41% of children under the age of 19 rely on the health center for care.

Demand for quality healthcare in Lynn continues to grow. For the past two years we have seen an average of over 400 new patients each month. Last year we provided almost 240,000 visits for 38,305 individuals.

In 2012 Lynn Community Health Center completed a major expansion of our facilities to meet the needs of the community. Our new Stephen D. Hayes Building has enabled us to significantly expand access to care through the addition of six new primary care physicians and six new behavioral health therapists, and six new dental operatories bringing our total to 12.

The new space is designed to support the Patient-Centered Medical Home model being implemented throughout the organization. Collaborative work spaces, integrated teams, and community rooms are designed to support patient-centered care.

Lynn Community Health Center is in the final stages of completing the capital campaign launched in 2010 to complete this vital project. To date we have raised $5.3 million of our $6 million goal. Please join us in making this essential campaign a success!
