Get your flu shot!

The flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs.  It can cause mild to severe illness, and can at times lead to death.  The best way to prevent the flu is by getting vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months of age or older be vaccinated annually against influenza.  Patients at the health center should contact their primary care team about getting vaccinated.

#GivingTuesday: give the gift of health!

There’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and now there’s Giving Tuesday — a worldwide day dedicated to giving back. This year, Lynn Community Health Center is proud to be an official partner in this effort.

There are many worthy ways you can spend your charitable contributions. This year please keep Lynn Community Health Center in mind. Give the gift of health and hope to those who need it the most. Thank you!
