Support our Annual Fund and join us in the fight for Health Equity.
Here at Lynn Community Health Center, our mission to deliver high quality integrated care to all, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, is who we are.
We are grateful to be part of such a collaborative, caring community, and we feel privileged to work alongside you to create a healthier, brighter future for all. Thank you for standing with us and supporting our mission. With your support, LCHC develops and provides services aimed at promoting health equity, reducing disparities, and improving access for underserved populations, even when these services are not reimbursable.
Highlights of our programs reach far beyond our exam rooms:
The health center administers School Based Health Centers in most of the Lynn Public Schools a model program for the Commonwealth. We provide behavioral health care in all locations, and at many locations, we offer fully integrated primary care alongside our behavioral health services. The goal of the SBHC’s is to make access to healthcare easier and more convenient for the children and teens of Lynn. We do this by bringing the clinic into the schools!
Our state-of-the art in-house LCHC pharmacy opened in January of 2023. Our patients can have a prescription written or renewed during their appointment and filled within 20 minutes at 269 Union Street. Now, our patients have easier access to lower-cost medications for diabetes, asthma, hypertension and much more.
This past year, an LCHC community van to deliver direct care in the community began operating as part of our Medical Outreach Program. This mobile unit expands LCHC’s services, offering essential medical care to all in Greater Lynn. It provides acute and preventive care, screenings, vaccinations, and chronic disease management, improving health outcomes for underserved communities. On-demand addiction treatment and harm reduction services are also available.
Our “no wrong door” policy regarding treatment of patients living with substance use disorder (SUD) is in effect. Staff have been trained to deliver timely care no matter where a patient presents, and we have started a same-day suboxone treatment path. In 2023, we provided medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorders for 1,108 patients. As always, care is and will be delivered with dignity and respect.
Will you join us again? Give today, join with us to ensure LCHC can and will continue to lead the way. Help us design intentional, inclusive systems for the future to create equitable access to all. We need you to be part of this journey. No gift is too small. No gift is too large. Your gift does make a difference!
